Murroe
Murroe ( Irish Maigh Rua ) is a small village in County Limerick in Ireland .
Village description
About 600 people live in Murroe. The village was founded by the Barrington family who lived in the nearby Glenstal Castle from 1830. Since 1926 it has housed a Benedictine Abbey (Glenstal Abbey) and a boarding school.
In the immediate vicinity of Murroe are the "Slieve Felim mountains".
