Gallery at Moritzplatz
The gallery on Moritzplatz was founded in 1977 as a self-help gallery for artists . The artists of the Neue Wilden essentially emerged from it.
The gallery was located on Moritzplatz (Oranienstrasse 58) in Berlin-Kreuzberg . The founders included artists such as Salomé , Helmut Middendorf , Rainer Fetting , Stefan Roloff , Luciano Castelli and Bernd Zimmer . There was a certain amount of competition to the artists around Martin Kippenberger , who resided a street corner down on Oranienplatz and ran the SO36 .
The gallery existed until 1981.
