Grassmayr bell foundry (Feldkirch)
The Grassmayr bell foundry was a bell foundry in Feldkirch in Vorarlberg from 1791 to 1914 and was a subsidiary line of the Grassmayr bell foundry in Innsbruck.
The company or a forerunner must have existed as early as the early 17th century. Johann Grassmayr from Innsbruck, born on May 16, 1601, completed his bell-founder apprenticeship with his uncle Jakob Veit Grassmayr in Feldkirch, in order to work later in Innsbruck.
