Gloria (potato)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gloria is a potato variety approved in Germany in 1972 .

It ripens very early and should be pre-germinated . Gloria is predominantly waxy. Due to the only medium-sized tubers, the plant population should include around 46,000 plants per hectare. The total target value for nitrogen should be around 160 kg including Nmin . It shows resistance only to the Ro1 pathotype of the gold nematode. The risk of damage when lifting is low.

Among other things, the varieties Felsina and Frieslander emerged from her as a breed.
