al-mahdi mosque

The al-Mahdi Mosque ( Engl . Al Mahdi Mosque ) is located in the English town of Bradford and is used by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat operated; a cost of 2.5 million pounds . It was inaugurated on November 7th, 2008 by Mirza Masrur Ahmad , the fifth caliphate of ul-Massih . A total of 2000 people lived at the inauguration, some from Pakistan , Canada and Germany . In addition to Ahmadi Muslims, over 300 guests were also present.

The mosque offers space for more than 2000 worshipers and has an eight meter high dome . It is on the Rees Way on a plateau, which is why it is visible several miles within Bradford.
