Gloueke

Gloueke is a late medieval desert in what is now the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in southwest Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The place was mentioned in the 14th century and was near Mestlin . The reasons for the demise of the settlement are not known. The place name is of Old Slavic origin and denotes either a personal name ( Glavek ) or the location on a hill ( glava ).
