Glumche Island (English; Bulgarian остров Глумче ostrow Glumche ) is an east-west orientation 470 m long, 290 m wide and rocky island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 0.83 km west-southwest of Cape Wallace and 1.08 km north of Fernandez Point off the northwest coast of Low Island .
British scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the town of Glumche in southeastern Bulgaria .
