The Osmar Strait (English; Bulgarian проток Осмар protok Osmar ) is the 27 km wide strait between Smith Island in the northwest and the southeastern Low Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It connects Drake Street with Boyd Strait .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Osmar in northeastern Bulgaria .
