Gobelet (art)

As a goblet [ ɡo.blɛ ] cup or cups on high or low foot of gold, are silver-gilt , silver or glass called. In the art trade, the definition of this term is narrower and only includes vessels from the Middle Ages and the 16th – 18th centuries. Century tapestries, drinking glasses and other glass utensils.
