Goce Smilevski
Goce Smilevski (* 1975 in Skopje , Yugoslavia , now North Macedonia ) is a Macedonian writer .
Life
Smilevski studied at the University of Skopje in Skopje and then at the Charles University in Prague and the Budapest Central European University . He has published two novels so far , each of which has won awards.
Awards and honors
- 2003: Macedonian Novel of the Year Award for Conversation with Spinoza .
- 2010: European Union Literature Prize for Sigmund Freud's sister .
