The Goetel Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Goetla ) is a glacier on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows between the Ullmann Spur and the Precious Peaks in a southerly direction to Martel Inlet , a side bay of Admiralty Bay .
Participants in a Polish Antarctic expedition named it after the Polish geologist and conservationist Walery Goetel (1889–1972).
