The coach house at Goethestrasse 9 in Coburg was demolished in spring 2012. The residential and warehouse in 1911 as a massive stucco building with a gable roof in baroque-style home instead of a garden house for Hofschlachter Emil Köhler in Coburg ketch suburb Heimatstil built. It was characterized by a mansard roof and built-in garage, originally an ice cellar and stables. A former wash house was attached.

It was not until August 2010, while a development plan was being prepared, that the house was entered in the list of monuments. The city of Coburg nonetheless allowed the city's own housing association to demolish the building because, according to the development plan, the renovation goals for the Ketschenvorstadt could not be achieved with the preservation of the building. The building was demolished in 2012.
