Goharschad Ghazvini
Goharschad Ghazvini ( Persian [ ɡohæɾʃɑd ɛ ɢæzvini ] گوهرشاد قزوینی; * unknown in Qazvin ; † 1628 ibid), also as Goharschad Hassani Ghazvini ( Persian [ ɡohæɾʃɑd ɛ hæsæni jɛ ɢæzvini ] گوهرشاد حسنی قزوینی) known, was a prominent Persian calligrapher of the Nastaliq script in the 17th century. She was the daughter of Mir Emad . She learned calligraphy from her youth and learned Nastaliq script from her father.
After her father's death in 1623, she went to her birthplace, Qazvin, and worked as a calligraphy teacher there, and stayed in that town until her death in 1628.
