Golden Mozart ring

The Golden Mozart Ring is an award given by the Mozart Community in Vienna .

Description and allocation mode

The golden ring is a one -of-a-kind, made according to the design of a Mozart admirer and shows the relief portrait of Mozart in profile on the seal plate . After the owner's death, his widow donated the ring to the Mozart community in Vienna in 1995 in order to express her deep connection with music.

It was agreed with the donor that the ring should "be passed on to artists or personalities of cultural life who have made great contributions to Mozart's work and its interpretation " approximately every five years . The Mozart Community of Vienna selects a new winner in accordance with the last winner.
