Golders Green is an above-ground London Underground station in the London Borough of Barnet . It is in the Travelcard tariff zone 3 at the intersection of Golders Green Road, North End Road and Finchley Road. In 2013, 7.40 million passengers used this station served by the Northern Line .

The tunnel begins around three hundred meters east in the direction of the city center. One of the Northern Line's four workshops with a parking facility is located parallel to the northern track. The main exit leads to the bus station on the south side, another exit to Finchley Road is closed today.

The station was opened on June 22, 1907 by the Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway , one of the two predecessor companies of the Northern Line. This was the end of the line for the time being, because Golders Green was still a small village back then and the area north of it was only built over in the following years. As intended, the new transport link stimulated construction activity. Before the First World War, there were plans to extend the route further north-west in order to open up more areas in rural Middlesex for settlement construction. The war delayed the start of construction until June 1922. On November 19, 1923, the line was extended to Hendon Central .
