Goobi is a software package for digitization projects in libraries, archives, museums and documentation centers. In 2015 around 50 libraries used Goobi for the digitization and presentation of digital collections, such as B. manuscripts, prints, books, magazines.

  • 2004: Development of the Göttingen online objects binaries (Goobi) by the Göttingen State and University Library

  • On May 13, 2016, the association's general meeting decided to replace the legally controversial name Goobi with Kitodo in the future .
