Mike Harker (born November 29, 1947 - April 1, 2011 in St. Martin ) was an American hang-glider pilot and pioneer of free radio in Germany.

Mike Harker was the first person to fly with a hang-glider on April 11th, 1973 from the Schneeernerkopf of the Zugspitze massif to Ehrwald and thus became a pioneer of hang-gliding in Europe.

In December 1987, he started the forerunner of the private radio broadcaster Radio Oberland, together with Peter Saturday and two other employees, with the "Operational test to test local radio in Garmisch" . On the occasion of the 2010 kite flying world championship at Tegelberg, Mike Harker took off on his last kite flight.

Mike Harker died of natural causes on April 1, 2011 on his yacht in Marigot Bay off the Antilles island of St. Martin.
