La voie de l'ennemi (English title: Two Men in Town ) is a French-Algerian-Belgian-American feature film from 2013 by director Rachid Bouchareb , based on the film Endstation Schafott (original title: Deux Hommes dans la Ville) based by José Giovanni .
The production ran in the competition of the Berlinale 2014 and premiered there on February 7, 2014.

The police murderer William Garnett, who converted to Islam in prison, is released early from custody. Accompanied by a probation officer, he tries to build a new life after 18 years of imprisonment. This is countered by the distrust of the local sheriff, whose deputy Garnett once shot, as well as Garnett's own inability to bring his violent outbursts under control. As Garnett's criminal accomplice from old times mistreats his new girlfriend, Garnett lies in wait for him and kills him.
