Timothy Guinee (born November 18, 1962 in Los Angeles ) is an American actor .

Life

Timothy Guinee has three brothers and two sisters and grew up in the US states of Illinois and Texas .

First he attended the High School of Performing Arts in Houston, Texas , before founding a theater company in Texas. He later moved to New York to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts . He then attended the North Carolina School of Arts in Winston-Salem, where he graduated and made his film debut.

He met his wife Daisy Foote while filming the television film Lily Dale (1996). She is the daughter of Pulitzer Prize-winning Horton Foote , who adapted "Lily Dale" for the film himself.

Since then, Guinee has worked in numerous productions, the best known in Germany for his role as "Tomin" in the TV series Stargate - Kommando SG-1 .
