Beavis and Butt-Head do it in America (original title: Beavis and Butt-Head Do America ; in German : Beavis and Butt-Head do it with America ) is a cartoon from 1996. The German premiere took place on May 15, 1997.

action

Beavis and Butt-Head fell asleep in front of the television. When they wake up, they find that the television has been stolen. The two of them, who do nothing but watch television all day, immediately start looking for a replacement. During their search, they meet Muddy, who wants them to kill his wife Dallas for 10,000 bills. Of course, Beavis and Butt-Head think they'll get paid for laying flat (instead of killing them) and flying to Las Vegas with enthusiasm. There they also meet Dallas, who is wanted by the FBI for stealing a mini bioweapon. The overzealous Beavis immediately takes off his pants. Butt-Head doesn't like that at all because he wants to be the first to have sex with the woman. There is an argument. Dallas takes the opportunity to sew the mini bioweapon into Beavis' pants. The FBI will find out. From now on they are on the list of the most wanted criminals. However, they manage to escape the FBI time and time again. Towards the end of the film, a misunderstanding makes Tom Anderson the most perverted resident of America. Beavis and Butt-Head are rewarded by the then US President with being secret agents for alcohol, tobacco and firearms. Towards the end of the film, the two find their television again.

Reviews

“Looking for a replacement for their stolen television set, the television addicts Beavis and Butt-Head get caught in a chase run by crooks and government agents through a misunderstood murder assignment. The first screen adventure of the MTV cartoon teenagers is an emphatically 'incorrect' entertainment product whose 'primitive' design leaves plenty of room for allusions and quotes. The film draws its humor mainly from the language reduced to sexual allusions and does not shy away from figurative bad taste and cynicism. Even 'primitive' in drawing, it should ultimately be more annoying than entertaining for most viewers. "

“The story of 'Beavis and Butt-Head do it in America' is as crazy as the main actors themselves. But if you can laugh at the TV appearances of the infantile duo, you are in good hands with their cinema debut. The difference to the series: In the film they leave their homeland and instead do their jokes on planes, buses and the White House. And when, for example, Beavis, under the influence of stimulants, mobilizes the armed forces with Bill Clinton's (red) phone, the die-hard fan base will pat each other on the thighs with laughter. A bonus for fans of the series: On their trip, Beavis and Butt-Head get to know two old Harley riders who not only laugh like them, but also look very much like them. No wonder - it's their drunk fathers. "
