Google Native Client or just Native Client ( NaCl ) is a sandbox technique that enables C or C ++ code to be executed in a browser environment. Google Native Client is under the BSD license .

The Portable Native Client extends this technology by platform independence , so that applications can run on different computer architectures . Applications are available on a web server in platform-independent bytecode and are immediately translated into the machine language of the executing platform by the PNaCl of a web browser .
