Google Travel is an online service provided by Google LLC that supports travel planning . To this end, Google already operates portals for hotel search and flight search, which are also integrated into the web search and Google Maps . These offers have been bundled under Google Travel (in English “Google Travel”). The homepage welcomes users with a search field that can search through all areas. Underneath and in the side menu you can find links to discovery, flights, hotels and package tours.

The mobile app Google Trips has been offered for smartphones with Android or iOS as the operating system since 2016 . With the app, suggestions for hotels, restaurants and excursions can be found in one place and reservation data can be saved. In June 2019 the shutdown of the app was announced by Google and on August 5th the development was stopped. Some functions of trips have been integrated into the Google Travel page. With the introduction of the new augmented reality mode Live View in August 2019, some functions of Trips were also integrated into the Google Maps mobile app .
