Gotrek and Felix

Gotrek and Felix is a fantasy novel series set in the universe of Warhammer Fantasy . The series was originally started in 1999 by William King , but later continued by other authors.

The two characters also appear as tabletop figures and can, among other things, be played in the dwarf army.

The Gotrek & Felix novel cycle is about the adventures of the dwarf Gotrek Gurnisson and his human companion Felix Jaegar. As a Slayer, Gotrek seeks a glorious death in battle to atone for his sins. After a long drinking bout, the then still young student Felix Jaegar swore to accompany the Slayer and record his supposed demise. Together, the two of them have traveled to almost all areas of the Old World, experienced various adventures and overcome many dangers.

Originally, the series was first published by Black Library , a division of Games Workshop . The German versions of King and Long were first published by Heyne Verlag and later by Piper Verlag . Most of the works were translated into German by Christian Jentzsch .
