Goxua

Goxua [ go'ʃua ] is a dessert from the Basque Country . It is a specialty of the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz .

Goxua consists of a pudding cream , cake batter and cream , which are layered on top of each other and coated with caramel . The dessert is often served in a small clay bowl.

The word goxua is derived from the Basque word goxo [ 'goʃo ] (German "sweet").
