Almunge burial ground
The burial ground of Almunge ( Swedish Almunge gravfalt ) is located between Uls-Väsby and Ösby near Länna in the southeast of Uppsala län in Sweden .
The burial ground measures about 100 × 45 m and consists of 25 monuments. 23 are round stone settings from 3.0 to 6.0 m in diameter and 0.2 to 0.4 m in height. Two are building blocks 2.5 and 1.8 m high, 1.3 and 0.9 m wide and 0.4 m thick. The surface of the field is littered with numerous stones from 0.15-0.4 m and overgrown with bushes and rows of birches. In the middle there is a pit about 3.0 m in diameter and 0.3 m deep.
