Sollentuna burial ground
The north-south oriented Iron Age burial ground of Sollentuna, measuring approximately 100 × 70 m, is located in Sollentuna in Uppland in Sweden and consists of 15 burial mounds and 13 round stone settings .
The largest burial mound, the Kungshög ( German "Königshügel" ), is about 5.0 m high and 28.0 m in diameter. There are a number of pits in the hill. The other burial mounds are significantly smaller with a diameter of 6.0 to 10.0 m and heights between 0.6 and 1.2 m. A small hill has a preserved curb chain made of small stones. A higher hill has a pit in the middle. The round stone settings are 4.0 to 12.0 m in diameter and 0.3 to 1.0 m high. Two have a fixed, partially visible edge made of 0.3 to 0.4 m large stones. Two stone settings have center stones and two have center pits. A hill and a stone setting are damaged.
In Södersätra, east of Sollentuna, is the rune stone U 101, one of the Jarlabankestenarna (RAÄ No. Sollentuna 74: 1). The Edsängens burial ground is also located here .
