Uppkåra burial ground
The Uppkåra Cemetery (Swedish: Uppkåra gravfalt ) is a prehistoric burial site at Uppkåra, northeast of Sävsjö in the Swedish municipality of Sävsjö in the historic province of Småland .
In the cemetery there are 85 burial mounds. It is assumed that they originated in the later Iron Age , between 500 and 1050 after the beginning of our era. In the wider area there are similar barrow fields that were originally assigned to specific farms.
