Grumpy tournament

Grümpelturnier (less common junk tournament ) or recreational tournament is the name given in sport to competitions apart from the official game competition that do not follow the official rules and in which the players usually do not have to be registered with the respective association or be eligible to play. Likewise, there are often no restrictions on age or gender. Groot tournaments usually extend over one or more days in a row, for example over a weekend.

Grümpelturniere enjoy the summer at football , especially in the countryside popularity. Colorful mixed teams play against each other. Football clubs often act as organizers, and their teams are generally prohibited from participating in the rules of the football associations. Teams, playing field and playing time are shorter than in official game operations.

Grümpel tournaments are also held in other ball sports such as handball , fistball , table tennis or volleyball and with the shooters .
