The Green Youth Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (official abbreviation GRÜNE JUGEND MV ) is the state association of the Green Youth in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . It is the youth organization of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . The regional association is the smallest regional association of the Federal Green Youth Association. The Green Youth was founded on August 27, 2005 at the state members' meeting in Rostock

Organizational structure

The Green Youth Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is divided into the state members' assembly, the state board and the district associations. The Green Youth is based in the Hanseatic City of Rostock .

State General Assembly

The State Members' Assembly (LMV) is the highest decision-making body of the Green Youth Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Here every member of the Green Youth MV is entitled to vote.

State Board

The state board manages the business of the state association and represents the Green Youth of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania internally and externally. All deliberations of the state board are generally public for the members of the state association. The state board consists of two equal speakers, a treasurer and at least three deputy speakers.

District associations

The Green Youth Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has district associations in Vorpommern-Rügen, Vorpommern-Greifswald, in the Hanseatic city of Rostock and in the state capital Schwerin.
