Green economy

The Green Economy is an association of green entrepreneurs in Austria in the legal form of an association based in Vienna .

Although it is legally an independent association, the Green Economy is a friendly run-up organization of the party The Greens - The Green Alternative .

The association was founded in 1999 and has been represented as a green parliamentary group in all regional chambers and in the Federal Chamber of Commerce since the 2005 Chamber of Commerce elections, in which 4.46% of the votes were achieved across Austria . The green economy is divided into nine politically largely autonomous state groups. The seat of the association is in Vienna . In the Chamber of Commerce elections in 2015, the green economy achieved a nationwide result of 9.1%.

The groups primarily represented by the association include, according to their self-portrayal, the one-person companies and micro-businesses as well as the businesses of the creative and ecological industries.
