As Green cliff in is Keitum on Sylt , the transition of the higher Geest to march stripes on the Wadden Sea designated. The "cliff" stretches for about 3 km from the south-eastern edge of the town center to the church in the north along the coastline of the island of Sylt. The term "green cliff" refers to the surface of the thirteen meter high slope overgrown with grasses and wild herbs.
