Grady Wilson

Grady (Baxter) Wilson ( 1919 - 1987 ) was an American evangelical pastor , revival preacher and board member of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association .

Wilson had a conversion experience in 1934 during an event with the Baptist revival preacher Mordecai Fowler Ham, at which his childhood friend Billy Graham also became a believer. He began preaching and attended Bob Jones College in Greenville . In 1938 he was ordained a pastor in a Baptist church, and in 1943 he graduated from Wheaton College . Wilson was employed as a pastor in various churches after his studies before he decided in 1943 to support Billy Graham in his evangelistic events. Wilson has served on the board of directors and as an evangelist for the organization since the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was founded in 1950.
