The house Graf-Wilhelm-Straße 1 is a residential building in the upper town of Bregenz . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

The house dates from the first half of the 19th century. The building core, however, is much older.

architecture

The house is three-storey and is partly built in rubble, partly also built in a frame construction. The courtyard facade has some Gothic elements. The street-side facade has three window axes. The windows have a profiled wooden frame. Under the roof is a frieze of teeth. In the right side axis is a portal with sandstone walls and gate leaves with curved panels. The blow bar is fluted. The skylight is colorfully glazed. Inside the house is a wooden staircase with a turned railing. On the first floor, a room has stucco ornament strips on the ceiling.
