Grafendorf (municipality of Stockerau)

Grafendorf is a district of the municipality of Stockerau in Lower Austria .

Grafendorf is the eastern part of today's urban area of ​​Stockerau. Grafendorf had been an independent municipality since 1850. On August 29, 1893 Stockerau merged with Grafendorf and was raised to town by Emperor Franz Josef I. In the place of today's Kolomannsheim there was a castle until the 18th century, which was originally built by the Counts of Sierndorf and after several changes of ownership belonged to the Counts of Schönborn-Buchheim.
