The Grambala (f.sg .; Greek Γκραμπάλα ) is a hill in the Pindos Mountains. It became famous in the Greco-Italian War in 1940. It was occupied three times by Italian troops and three times recaptured by counter-attacks by Greek troops, which stopped the Italian advance. Today there is a memorial to the fallen for the Greek soldiers.
