Graseckbahn
The Graseckbahn is a cable car that went into operation in 1953 and runs near Garmisch-Partenkirchen from the Partnachklamm to the Graseck forest house.
history
This cable car was built in 1953 according to the plans of the cable car designer Karl Peter . A fully automatic cable car without a carriage attendant was built for this facility after Karl Peter had previously set up a demonstration and test facility in Batschuns and had demonstrated the operational safety of the Lech – Oberlech cable car in practical tests.
