Great Ashfield Castle , also known as Castle Hill in the area , is an abandoned castle near the village of Great Ashfield in the English county of Suffolk .

Great Ashfield Castle was a moth that Normans planted near the village of Great Ashfield. The mound has a diameter of 39.5 meters at the foot and is 7.3 meters high. The mound is surrounded by a trench that is 5.5 meters deep and 2.1 meters wide. Research suggests that this trench was added later.

Today the Burgstalle is a Scheduled Monument .
