The Great Swanport is a lake on the east coast of the Australian state of Tasmania .
It forms the estuary of the Swan River , which flows through it from west to east. In the east, a canal connects it to the south with Great Oyster Bay , a bay of the Tasman Sea . The southern boundary is a narrow strip of land, Nine Mile Beach , which separates it from Great Oyster Bay. In the west, upstream, the Kings Bay joins, in the northwest the Moulting Lagoon .
