Greek Lexicon of the Roman and Byzantine Periods

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Greek Lexicon of the Roman and Byzantine Periods by Evangelinos Apostolides Sophocles is an older Greek dictionary on the Hellenistic, Imperial, Late Antique and Byzantine stages of Greek .

Sophocles' Greek Lexicon no longer corresponds to modern lexicographical requirements, but since it was developed independently and the lexicographically still poorly recorded later and Byzantine greatness is still an important working tool, even if it is partly by Lampes Patristic Greek Lexicon , the Lexicon Gregorianum and the Lexicon on Byzantine Graecity are outdated.
