Gregor Roth
Gregor Roth is a German legal scholar with a focus on corporate tax law, law of non-profit organizations and corporate law. He has been a professor at Leipzig University since 2017 .
Career
Roth studied law at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena .
After his doctorate on "The uniform right to information - a contribution to the formation of institutions" in the field of civil law (2004) and his habilitation on the topic of "Association purpose and creditor protection" in July 2013, Gregor Roth became professor of civil law on April 1, 2015 , Corporate law and tax law at the Technical University of Dresden. On September 1, 2017, he switched to the chair for civil law, corporate law and tax law at the University of Leipzig .
