Border ball

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grenzball is a ball sport that is no longer competitive. It is like the sling ball game .

It is a movement game in which two teams face each other on an approximately 60 m long playing area. You are trying to throw or push a large ball over the edge of the playing area behind your opponents. Sometimes a goal is set up on each side, bounded by two poles, into which the ball has to be maneuvered.

The border ball game was invented by August Hermann . The rules of the game were created between 1897 and 1899.
