Border brigade
A border brigade is a military association that protects national borders.
There were the following border brigades:
- Landwehr formations of the Swiss Army:
- Border Brigade 1 in the Geneva area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 1
- Border Brigade 2 in the Neuchâtel area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 1
- Border Brigade 3 in the Ajoie area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 1
- Border Brigade 4 in the Basel area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 2
- Border Brigade 5 in the Aargau area, subordinate to the Field Army Corps 2
- Border Brigade 6 in the Schaffhausen area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 4
- Border Brigade 7 in the Lake Constance area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 4
- Border Brigade 8 in the Rhine Valley area, subordinate to Field Army Corps 4
