Grižane is a village in Croatia . It belongs to the Vinodolska općina municipality , Primorje-Gorski kotar County . The population is 153 (as of 1991 census).

The place came under the Frankopan rule in 1225 . It was fortified in the form of a non-rectangular square with a tower. In 1474 Martin Frankopan, who had bought the village from his niece, transferred it to the monastery he had founded in Trsat . From the 17th century the Zrinski owned the village. In 1671 it was confiscated by the Austrian court chamber .

Grižane is the birthplace of the artist Giulio Clovio .
