Listen to Grigiškės ? / i ( Polish: Grzegorzewo ) is a small town in the immediate vicinity of Vilnius . The place lies on both sides of the Vokė dammed up here , shortly before its confluence with the Neris . The place is on the expressway from Vilnius to Kaunas . In its current form, Grigiškės is an industrial settlement that was established in 1923 when Grigas Kurecas founded the AB Grigeo Grigiškės paper mill, which still exists today .
