Grit van Hoog

Grit van Hoog (born May 22, 1941 in Rotterdam as Gurie Bouma ) is a Dutch pop singer.

Live and act

Her first record was released in Germany in 1963: Dreaming, isn't that beautiful (A side), Happiness comes from being loyal (B side). The disc was pretty successful, especially the A title. This can also be found on the LP "The great star and hit parade 1963. With 16 top hits". In the Netherlands, van Hoog was better known as a jazz singer. More singles appeared in Germany. In 1968, under the direction of Horst Jankowski and Bernd Rabe, their album Portrait in Music was created . The artist had several television appearances in the FRG as well as in the GDR. At the beginning of the 1970s, the artist had withdrawn more and more from show buses.
