Grita Gotze

Grita Götze (* 1959 in Schlema ) is a German artist.

Life

Grita Götze was born in Schlema in 1959 and grew up in Halle an der Saale and in Gernrode. From 1978 to 1980 she completed a pottery apprenticeship in Bürgel, until 1985 she expanded her knowledge by studying ceramics at the University of Industrial Design in Halle at the Giebichenstein Castle with Gertraud Möhwald and Heidi Manthey . She has been working in her own workshop in Halle an der Saale since 1986. She is married to the painter Moritz Götze and has three children with him.
