Great Actors - Immortal Poetry was an Ariola-Athena record series released in the early 1960s. Hans Conrad Fischer was the artistic director .

It was a series of long-playing records , the title of which reflects the concept. Renowned actors, who were honored with a detailed biography on the record cover , spoke classics of literature. Among them were Will Quadflieg , who read Holderlin's “Hyperion an Bellarmin”, Ernst Deutsch and Käthe Gold .

The outer appearance of the covers of the long-lived series once changed from black and gray actor portrait photos with yellow letters to green and white with black letters.
