The Grand Ducal Florentine crown (Latin Corona magni ducis Herruriae ) worn by the Medici was not a classic grand ducal crown .

The crown of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany consists of a circlet, which is adorned with pearls at the top and bottom. A large lily stands on the hoop in front and behind . In between there are long raised outwardly slightly curved prongs, which alternately adorn small lilies and shamrocks .
