description

The preserved grave 1

The complex has a rather large north-west-south-east oriented burial chamber, which for the most part is still hidden deep in the ground. Five capstones are still clearly visible: two in the southeast and three in the northwest. There is a gap between these two groups. Another capstone was originally located there. Only four wall stones protrude just above the earth: the end stone on the south-eastern narrow side, the adjoining wall stone on the north-eastern long side and the two adjoining wall stones on the south-western long side. Numerous other stones lying around are probably not parts of the grave, but reading stones from the adjacent field.

The destroyed grave 2

Only sparse information is available about the destroyed grave. It had several capstones, the largest of which was 8 feet (about 2.3 m) long , 5 feet (about 1.5 m) wide, and 3 feet (0.9 m) thick . The smallest was 5 feet (about 1.5 m) long, 3 feet (about 0.9 m) wide and 2 feet (about 0.6 m) high.
