Hitzacker large stone grave
The Hitzacker large stone grave was a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Hitzacker (Elbe) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district ( Lower Saxony ). It was destroyed in 1812. Its exact location has not been handed down, and there is no information about the orientation, dimensions and type of grave. When it was destroyed, numerous ceramic shards were found and given to the Natural History Society of Hanover .
